Bulk answer generation

Generate first-draft answers for many questions at once — how to run it, monitor progress, and review the output.

Bulk answer generation creates first-draft answers across all Not Started questions in a response in a single run. It draws on your Content Vault and Customisation settings. For large tenders this can save many hours of manual first-draft writing.

    Before you run bulk generation

    • Make sure your Content Vault has relevant documents uploaded and in a Ready state (not still processing).
    • Check that your Customisation settings are complete — Company Purpose, Brand Tone of Voice, and Custom Prompt all shape the output.
    • Review the question list to make sure all questions have been correctly extracted or entered — it is faster to fix structure before generation than after.

    Starting and monitoring the run

    • Click the Bulk generate (or equivalent) button from the project page to launch the run. You will see a confirmation screen listing how many Not Started questions will be processed.
    • Click Create Drafts to begin. A progress bar and per-question status list show exactly what is happening in real time.
    • Simple questions (name, email, company details) are automatically skipped and marked for manual entry — the AI focuses on content-based questions.
    • You can cancel an active run at any time. Questions already generated retain their drafts; queued questions will not be started.
    • Large tenders can take several minutes — you can close the modal and the run continues in the background. You will receive a notification when it completes.

    After bulk generation

    • Open each question and review the draft. Bulk generation output must always be reviewed before submission — treat it as a first draft, not a finished answer.
    • Focus first on any questions flagged as Needs Attention — these were ones the AI could not complete satisfactorily, and they need manual attention.
    • Look for answers that are generic rather than specific. These usually indicate a gap in the Content Vault for that topic — add a relevant document and regenerate.
    • Use the AI Assistant on individual questions to refine, expand, or redirect drafts that are on the right track but need improvement.
