Export & add to Content Vault

Download your response as a Word document, what to check before exporting, and how to store the completed pack for future reuse.

    Preparing for export

    • Run Tender Intelligence QA and address any high-severity findings before exporting.
    • Check the Status tab in the project sidebar — all questions should be on Complete, with none left on Needs Attention.
    • Open Project Preview for a final structural read-through to make sure no sections are missing or out of order.
    • Confirm all answers are saved. Auto-save keeps things current, but if you have any unsaved changes in the editor, save them before exporting.

    Exporting

    • From the project page, click the Export button in the top actions area.
    • The export generates a Word (.docx) document. This may take a few seconds for large responses.
    • Once ready, the download will start automatically or a download link will appear.
    • Open the Word document and review the formatting. The export preserves your answer text but you may need to apply your organisation's standard document template (letterhead, footer, cover page) in Word before submission.

    Troubleshooting export issues

    • If the download does not start, check your browser's download settings and pop-up blocker, then try again.
    • If the exported document has missing content, check that those questions have saved answers in the editor (not just draft unsaved text).
    • If formatting looks wrong, note that UpliftRFP exports plain structured content — apply your organisation's Word template on top.

    Adding to the Content Vault

    • After export, use Add to Content Vault from the project page to store the response in your vault.
    • This makes the complete tender response available as source material for future generation runs — particularly valuable if this was a strong submission.
    • Open the stored document and set the submission date and outcome (see Submission date & outcome). Mark it as 'Won' if it was successful — this raises its priority in future drafts.
    • You can remove a response from the vault later if it becomes outdated, from the Content Vault document detail view.

    Building a reuse library

    • Every submitted response you add to the vault (with outcome metadata) strengthens the AI's material for future tenders.
    • After a few submissions, you should see a noticeable improvement in first-draft quality as the AI has more successful content to draw on.
    • Archive or remove very old responses or responses on topics no longer relevant to your business to keep the vault focused.
